Frequently Asked Questions

1. QUESTION: What if I just want to make some art for the story? Do I have to be part of a class or group?

ANSWER: No:You can help by making a picture (or more) to illustrate your favorite part(s) of the story. This can be one line, one stanza, etc. If you wish, you can use the story's photo links as guides ---and copy them (in your own way, of course). Remember, this is not a contest --please have fun!

WE APOLOGIZE--FOR THE TIME BEING WE HAVE SUSPENDED WEBSITE ART PUBLICATION. PLEASE SKIP TO QUESTION 2.

If your teacher or parent e-mails your art to us, we will put it up here on the SCHOOLS/ART page permanently. Some art will also be posted in the story on a revolving basis.

Your art will make the site and story more fun, set an example to schools, and inspire folks to keep coming back. This will mean a larger community of kids and schools learning about the Children's Eternal Rainforest, and helping to save more forest.

NOTE: We will identify artists by first name only (or no name if teachers/parents wish), age and school/group/location. If you are under 13, you must ask a parent, teacher or guardian about sending your art, and your parent or guardian must give their written permission. Parents & teachers: by sending your child's/students' art, you/the students' parents are permitting us to post it on the site. Kids, if you are between the ages of 13-18, you can send art directly, but it’s always good to tell an adult family member first.  They might want to help the forest too.

2. QUESTION: I’m a teenager. Am I too old for this?

ANSWER: No!
Many of the original kids who were involved were in high school. And, even college... you can set a great example for younger kids.

3. QUESTION: My teacher wants to know more. What can I tell her?
