Giant Anteater
Strange to behold, the Giant Anteater is, not surprisingly, the largest of anteaters. These unusual animals can weigh up to 120 lbs, and their tails are nearly as long as their bodies.
There is official uncertainty about whether they are still found in the Children's Eternal Rainforest, although local farmers claim they are. Rainforests and grassy savannahs in Central and South America is their habitat.
This anteater's tongue is more than 2 feet long! This makes it easy to snatch ants and termites (their entire diet) from mounds and nests.
Giant anteaters can't see very well but their sense of smell is about 40 times greater than the average human's. Imagine that!
